'Reflections on Reality TV' with Author, Arthur E. Perkins, Jr.
Where/When: At 7 p.m. on Thursday at The Morristown & Morris Township Library.
Why Go: Those intrigued by the reality TV craze that’s swept the nation over the past few years can get a glimpse into the world with reality-TV blogger and author Arthur E. Perkins, Jr.
Pricing: Free.

NJWorks Open House
When/Where: From 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Bridgewater Township Library.
Why Go: To find out how the library can help you land a new job. Community partners from local government, civic and non-profit groups will be on hand to guide your forward from the unemployment period.
Pricing: Free.

'The Power of 9' Art Exhibition
Where/When: From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday at the Arts Council of the Morris Area.
Why Go: Because this art exhibit will feature 40 unique works by eight professional artists.
Pricing: Free.

Smooth Sounds at the Famished Frog
Where/When: At 11 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at The Famished Frog in Morristown.
Why Go: To enjoy great live music.
Price: No cover.

Medicinal Plants of the Civil War
Where/When: At 11 a.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morris Township.
Why Go: Because this exhibit, inspired by a collection of rare books at the arboretum, will focus on the roll of medical botany during the Civil War.
Price: Free.

Joan Lamensdorf Art Exhibit 
Where/When: From 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Harding Gallery.
Why Go: Because you can spend a Friday night with some wine and some beautifully serene landscapes made with pastels.
Pricing: Free.

Learn About the Master of Suspense
When/Where: From 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday at The Bernards Township Library in Basking Ridge.
Why Go: To watch classic scenes from "Rear Window," "North by Northwest," "Psycho" and "The Birds," and see why Alfred Hitchcock is the master of suspense. 
Pricing: Free. Registration required. 

Museum of Early Trades and Crafts Presents "A Downtown Concert"
Where/When: From 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts in Madison.
Why Go: Because the free outdoor concert will feature the band “Big Bad Irish.”
Pricing: Free.

'Othello' Playing at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey
Where/When: From 8 to 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey in Madison.
Why Go: Because a night at the theater sounds like a great way to spend your weekend. Plus, this play hasn’t been seen on The Shakespeare Theatre stage since 2003.
Pricing: $32 to $55.

Saturday Morning Road Ride
Where/When: Starting at Marty’s Reliable Cycle in Morristown at 9 a.m. on Saturday, and trekking 20 miles through Harding and Chatham, then back to Morristown.
Why Go: Because you’d like a workout to start your Saturday morning, or because the weather is warming up. Rain or snow cancels.

Downtown Concert Series
Where/When: At 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts in Madison.
Why Go: Because you can bring a blanket or chair for a free family-friendly outdoor music concert on the lawn of the museum.

Country Yard Sale
Where/When: From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at 146 Washington Valley Road, Morris Township.
Why Go: Who knows what treasures you’ll find?
Pricing: Bring your wallet.

Greystone Photo Exhibit
Where/When: From 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at The Morristown and Morris Township Library.
Why Go: You can stop by the library and check out this new collection of photographs.
Pricing: Free.

Little Things That Move The Earth
When/Where: From 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Environmental Education Center at Lord Stirling Park in Basking Ridge.
Why Go: For children ages 7 to 9 to learn about the amazing life of the butterfly. Can you say lepidoptera?
Pricing: $9 per person. Registration required.

Glee Karaoke 
Where/When: From 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at The Morristown & Morris Township Library.
Why Go: Because kids in grades 6-12 can play "Glee Karaoke Revolution 2" and enjoy snacks.
Pricing: Free.
