Road was closed Tuesday while crews worked to fix break.
A water main break that caused Mt. Kemble Avenue, in Morristown, to flood shut down the road in both directions near 95 Mt. Kemble Tuesday.
Police from the Morristown and Morris Township Police Departments advised residents to seek alternate routes while road crews worked to fix the break.

Mt. Kemble Avenue is the same as Rt. 202. It would be helpful if the article mentioned where on Mt. Kemble Ave./202 the break occurred, and what the alternative routes are.

The Nixle message said it was at 95 Mt. Kemble. I believe I see the small brick condo building at 90 Mt. Kemble in the photo.

Also, could pedestrians and bikers get through?

I live on Mt. Kemble Ave across from Skyline Drive. The road is closed in both directions. As a result of the closure a huge moving van was forced to divert up Skyline Drive. The van became stuck and blocked both sides of Skyline Dr. A screaming match occurred between the van drivers and the public trying to turn around on Skyline. Police were called. The moving van left deep tire tracks on the corner property...a mess. Road clear but no traffic allowed.
