Cheap Trick at MPAC and Kid's Scavenger Hunt on Friday

Here’s a fun activity for kids ages 2- 6 today: Scavenger Hunt from 10 – noon at the Morristown-Morris Township Library. Come search for treasure. Follow the clues and find hidden prizes around the children's room. Sponsored by The Friends of the Library.

Head over to the Morris County Library at 2 p.m. and catch the film Quartet. This 98-minute movie is rated PG-13. According to Moviefone.com, it’s about an opera company filled with retired performers who reunite once a year to stage a fund-raiser for their theater in Dustin Hoffman's directorial debut. Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon, and Billy Connolly star in this film.

Any fans of Cheap Trick? Head to MPAC this Friday night to catch this group at 8 p.m. There is a Meet & Greet Package and a VIP Tour Package available. “Since the 70s, Cheap Trick has been blending elements of pop, punk and even metal in a way that is instantly catchy and recognizable. With timeless classics such as “I Want You to Want Me,” “Surrender,” “Dream Police” and “The Flame,” Cheap Trick remains a musical institution,” according to MPAC.
