B Polished Salon & Spa to Donate April Pedicure Proceeds to The Entertainment Industry Foundation’s Revlon Run/Walk for Women

B Polished Salon & Spa today announces it will be donating all pedicure proceeds from the month of April to the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s (EIF) Revlon Run/Walk for Women which will be held in New York City on May 3.  B Polished Owner Bethanie Warnock and Spa Director Angelica Basso have assembled a team of six employees and a few family members who will be participating in the Run/Walk event under the team name, “B Polished Nailing Cancer.”

The nationally acclaimed EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women has touched the lives of millions of people through increased awareness, education, research, and diagnostic treatment services. Since the inception of the EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women in 1994, the efforts of participants made it possible to distribute over $70 million to support medically under-served women and provide psycho-social & financial support to women facing cancer.

“The Revlon Run/Walk is an incredibly significant event for Angelica and I, as our families have both been personally affected by cancer,” says Warnock.  “Angelica lost her mother and I lost my father to this dreadful disease.  It’s a blessing that we have this opportunity to join in the fight and we’re hoping the funds we raise in April will go a long way to help such a great cause.”
