Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Ships 200 Pounds Of Candy To Overseas Troops

According to Nancy Zingone, a sales associate affiliated with the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office who organized the collection, Greg’s Fitness in Whippany collected about 85 pounds of the candy and she acquired the rest with the help of her office’s sales associates and staff, clients and other area real estate agents. A lot of donations came from requests for help on Facebook, Zingone added. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares, the company’s philanthropic arm, paid to ship the candy to military personnel across the world.

“For the last few years our office has been sending packages to the troops, and the program has grown tremendously with the overwhelming support we have received,” said Zingone. “A lot of people find they have Halloween candy left over because they didn’t receive as many trick-or-treaters as expected, and have decided to give it to a great cause instead of leave it lying around the house!”
