July 4th Week: Many Historical To-Dos Nearby

It’s a patriotic week with many historical events in town. To get started early, Macculloch Hall Historical Museum is hosting an event for the little ones: Red, White and Blue in the Gardenon Tuesday from 1:15 to 2 p.m. The event is for three to five year olds and their caregivers to find the patriotic colors of red, white, and blue among the flowers growing in Macculloch Hall’s historic garden.  Children will hear a story and while in the garden mix paints to “create” the colors they find and use those paints to make a painting to take home. Learn more in this Patch event listing.

Now that Morris Plains had their fireworks, it’s Morristown’s turn.
