Pothole Problems: Where Are the Worst Road Craters in the Area?

Harsh winter has wreaked havoc on New Jersey roadways.

It's been a rough winter, no one's questioning that.

From snow days at school to salt shortages throughout the state, towns have had to deal with the inclement weather on a daily basis, Morris Townshp and Plains included.

With the heavy snow and ice accumulations over the past couple of months, roads may have suffered the most, as small cracks in the pavement a few weeks ago have become tire-busting craters nearly impossible to avoid.

Each town has its share of notoriously bad potholes drivers try to avoid for fear of a blowout, or even worse.

So, Morris Township and Morris Plains, which roads have the worst potholes in town? Let us know in the comments, and if you've got a photo of a bad spot, be sure to send it over to jason.koestenblatt@patch.com.

The little service road on the east side of 287 between South St. and Madison Ave. ... Horrible.
