Seats Still Available For Philadelphia Flower Show Trip

Bus excursion scheduled for March 9.

Seats are still available for a bus trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show, leaving from Morris Plains on March 9. The trip has been organized by a gardening group affiliated with the Presbyterian Church of Morris Plains

The famed International Philadelphia Flower Show has chosen, for its 2011 theme,  "Springtime in Paris." The show will celebrate fashion, fragrances and flora that exemplify the height of Parisian influence and style from March 6 to 13 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, a press release from the show notes. The Show “runway” will be carpeted with vast collections, selections and specimens of plants, flowers and signature products all available during the show at the official Flower Show Shoppe.

“Fashion and design have long been a part of the Philadelphia International Flower Show,” said Drew Becher, Pennsylvania Horticultural Society president. “This year, we are excited to incorporate signature Parisian elements and style that reinforce our 2011 theme, Springtime in Paris.”
