Richman, music director and conductor of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, is known for his command of the core repertoire, coupled with his finesse in presenting new and contemporary works. Sklar, a native of Garfield, plays “with articulate purity and a tone that could glint like the sun on water.” She joins the NJSO in a Slavic-tinged program of rhapsodies and dances by Beethoven, Dvořák, and Wieniawski, concluding with Tchaikovsky’s glorious 1812 Overture. The Celebration of Jewish Camping will feature Jewish rock phenomenon Sheldon Low,

The event will honor Elisa Spungen Bildner and Rob Bildner, nationally recognized leaders in both the Jewish and general philanthropic worlds and co-founders of the Foundation for Jewish Camping. Proceeds will benefit the United Jewish Appeal of MetroWest NJ, the fundraising arm of United Jewish Communities of MetroWest NJ, and the MetroWest Jewish Camp Enterprise.

Admission/Ticket fee: Varies. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
