From Phrase Into Dance

Merce Cunningham Dancers Rashaun Mitchell and Silas Reiner will perform "Nox" a contemporary dance piece to music and poetry by Anne Carson. This "From Phrase into Dance" performance is part of "The Phrase in Art" project funded by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), a Federal agency. Dr. Virginia Fabbri Butera will talk with the dancers on stage after the performance. Q & A to follow. The art exhibition, Visual Phrasing, also part of "The Phrase in Art" will be open before and after the performance.
