Jazz Coming to Town

Delbarton is the scene of a New York jazz group

Bill O'Connell & the Latin Jazz Allstars will perform at Delbarton at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2012 in the Fine Arts Center Theater.

Joining keyboardist O’Connell are Conrad Herwig on trombone, Steve Slagle on  saxophone, Luques Curtis on bass, Dave Samuels on vibraphone and marimba and Steve Berrios on drums and percussion. The free concert is underwritten by the Delbarton Arts Council, Fathers and Friends and Mothers Guild.

Event chairman, jazz aficionado and Delbarton father Dr. Glenn Godart of Ridgewood says, “It’s very unusual to have musicians of this caliber perform in our area. These are all top talents on the New York jazz scene, so hearing them will be a real city experience but closer to home.”
