LEGO Sculptures' Creator will Speak at Bickford

Will also sign books and posters

The creator of the LEGO sculptures at the , Nathan Sawaya, will speak about his work at the museum on Sunday, Jan. 22 at noon.

After the talk in the Bickford Theatre, Sawaya will sign books and posters, which will be available for purchase. Tickets are $20, which includes museum admission. Seating is limited; call the box office 973-971-3706 for reservations.

For the big LEGO and Sawaya fans, the museum will present “Coffee with the creator of The Art of the Brick” from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Registration for “Coffee with the creator of The Art of the Brick” will be limited to 30 people; tickets are $100 per person and include:

  • Opportunity to meet and speak with Sawaya before the museum opens
  • Breakfast buffet
  • Ticket and VIP seating for Sawaya’s talk at noon
  • The Art of the Brick poster signed by the artist

This  exhibition will be on view through Feb. 20.  While the exhibition is on view, a special area has been set up where visitors, inspired by Sawaya's work, can build their own LEGO creations. For more information about The Art of the Brick and Nathan Sawaya’s artwork, visit brickartist.com.
