Rt. 10 Traffic Crawling Through Morris Plains

Whether the light is red or green doesn't appear to matter as no one was getting far on Route 10 east on Monday.
Traffic was at a virtual standstill from a construction point near the Mountain Club at 2467 Route 10 East in Morris Plains, but delays stretched back from the 287 junction in Hanover back west through to the Denville/Randolph border.
Officials said the delays were exacerbated by extra traffic funneled down from Route 80 in Denville, where a debris spill took out three lanes.
Delays are expected to ease by midday.
