Arthur’s Tavern Reflects on Sandy, Joins National Dine Out Day

Stop by there Wednesday to take part in this nationwide campaign

Arthur’s Tavern joins other restaurants in New Jersey Wednesday to celebrate National Dine Out Day and donate a percentage of revenue to the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund.

In November 2012 shortly after Sandy struck New Jersey, Alyce McGreevy, owner of Arthur’s Tavern, offered discounted lunch menus to local families who were dealing with the devastation to their homes, loss of power, gas shortages and bills to be paid.

For this Wednesday’s National Dine Out Day, Arthur’s Tavern will donate 15 percent of the revenue from lunches and dinners to this relief fund for the entire metropolitan area.

"The McGreevy family invites all of our fine customers to Arthur’s Tavern this Wednesday so that we can give an extraordinary donation to the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund," said McGreevy. "It’s so important that everyone in the restaurant industry take this special opportunity to give directly to those organizations that aid in the recovery and rebuilding of those communities stricken by Sandy’s damage.”

Arthur’s Tavern is located at 700 Speedwell Avenue in Morris Plains (across from the NJ Transit Railroad Station).  For more information, call (973) 455-9705 or visit www.arthurstavern.com
