Spring Shopping Soiree to Benefit Camp Nejeda

Clients of the famed DePasquale, The Spa in Morris Plains New Jersey are used to getting the star treatment when it comes to their beauty services. But why stop there? DePasquale follows the philosophy that if you are going to get pampered like a VIP you should be entertained like one as well.  That is why on May 4th, for one night only, DePasquale, The Spa will play host to its first “Spring Shopping Soiree”.  Geared towards both men and women, this highly anticipated event will offer DePasquale clients and their guests an exclusive beauty & shopping experience with some of the most elite retailers in the area – all in an effort to raise funds for Camp Nejeda, a retreat for children with diabetes.

The space will be transformed into a VIP shopping and beauty lounge with plenty of entertainment for both guys and gals.  With retail therapy provided by Neiman Marcus, there will be a wide selection of designer shoes, bags, sunglasses, scarves, ties, belts and wallets to pick up and cross off your Mother’s Day and Father’s Day shopping lists. Guests are invited to pamper themselves with luxurious mini services while they enjoy complimentary cigars provided by JR Cigar while previewing some of the hottest bikes from Precision Custom Motorcycles and exotic cars from Ray Catena Luxury Auto. Lastly, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse will also be on hand serving bite-sized versions of their most popular dishes.

DePasquale, The Spa has always made it their mission to give back to the community.  Therefore 100% of ticket sales will go to benefit Camp Nejeda – which helps our friends and families manage their struggle with diabetes.

About Camp Nejeda

Camp Nejeda is known by thousand of families affected by type 1 diabetes as a trusted source of diabetes education and empowerment. Established in 1958, Camp Nejeda is the only diabetes camp in the region – and one of a handful in the U.S. – to own its own property and offer a full season of residential camping exclusively for children, teens and families affected by diabetes. Additional programs are scheduled throughout the year. The camps’ 72-acre campus includes a lake, archery range, basketball and volleyball courts, low ropes course, playground and biking trails. Along with swimming, arts and crafts, boating, field trips and cookouts, campers learn how to manage their diabetes, make healthy food choices and most of all, maintain a positive attitude.

Camp Nejeda is independently owned and operated by the Camp Nejeda Foundation, Inc., a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, and is fully licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health. Camp Nejeda is a member of the Diabetes Education and Camping Association and is accredited by the American Camp Association. Camp Nejeda offers seven weeks of residential camping, three-day family camp programs, and additional residential programs throughout the year. For more information, please visit www.campnejeda.org.
