Lily Chopra of Morris Plains recently joined The Provident Bank as assistant branch manager. In this position, she oversees branch operations in Morris County, community relations activities, new business development, and is responsible for building relationships with new and existing customers.
Chopra has more than 20 years of banking experience, and earned numerous awards recognizing her for customer satisfaction and exceeding customer expectations. Before joining Provident, she held positions at First Fidelity, First Union, Wachovia and Wells Fargo.

Chopra received a bachelor’s degree from Delhi University in Delhi, India as well as a master’s degree in health and physical education from Punjab University in Chandigarh, India. She is also involved with several nonprofit organizations, including the American Cancer Society, March of Dimes and the Lupus Foundation of America.
