Ms. Kaden started her career at a Big Four CPA firm in the corporate finance group performing valuations primarily for purchase price allocations associated with acquisitions, and valuing intangible assets.  She has worked for large NJ accounting firms for the last eighteen years specializing in business valuation and litigation support.

Monica Kaden is an accredited senior appraiser (“ASA”) with the American Society of Appraisers. She specializes in valuations of businesses, typically for matrimonial and shareholder litigation cases, estate and gift tax valuations, selling and buying business interests, and mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Kaden has performed lost profits analyses and has testified as an expert witness in business valuation and shareholder disputes. Ms. Kaden has expertise in valuing medical and dental practices and is the author of several articles, “Valuing Your Medical Practice For Sale,” published in Physician’s Money Digest , July 2012;   “Now Is The Time to Gift,” published in the Real Estate Journal, Mid Atlantic region, February 2009  and “Medical Practice Valuation,” published in M.D. News Magazine, May 2006.

Ms. Kaden is a graduate of Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Arts and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a Master of Business Administration. She received her accreditation as an accredited senior appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers in 2005, and was recertified in 2010. Ms. Kaden is presently in a post-MBA graduate program at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
