FLURRY OF RETAIL ACTIVITY AT ROCKAWAY TOWNSQUARE

Following in the footsteps of an active 2013 that saw more than a dozen new retailers open, remodel or expand at Rockaway Townsquare, a new round of stores is slated to join the mall this spring and summer.

 “We are always in the process of evaluating our merchandising mix and bringing retailers that our customers are asking for and represent a good fit to the surrounding marketplace,” said Elizabeth DiDuca, area director of marketing and business development for Rockaway Townsquare. “In this instance, we’re adding some tried and true brands along with a few newer names to the ever changing retail scene.  We look forward to welcoming them to our already impressive roster of specialty retailers over the next several months.”

Justice & Brothers, Upper Level, Lord & Taylor Wing

At almost 5,000 square feet, Justice & Brothers features the very latest in girls and boys clothing and preteen fashion accessories, including tops, bottoms, dresses, outerwear, PJ's and more.

White House|Black Market, Lower Level, Lord & Taylor Wing

Men’s Warehouse, Lower Level, Lord & Taylor Wing

Founded in 1973, Men's Wearhouse is one of North America's largest specialty retailers of men's apparel. The 4,275 square foot store at Rockaway Townsquare will carry a full selection of suits, sport coats, furnishings and accessories in exclusive and non-exclusive merchandise brands. Most shoppers connect the Men’s Warehouse name with the company’s founder George Zimmer and his famous line: “You’re going to like the way you look.  I guarantee it.”

LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, Lower Level, Lord & Taylor Wing

This rapidly growing retailer has simple beliefs: making effective products from organic fruit and vegetables, the finest essential oils and safe synthetics with little or no preservatives. Its natural line of products for skin, hair and body includes soaps, shower gels, shampoos and hair conditioners, bath bombs, bubble bars, hand and body lotions and face masks. Lush uses fruit and vegetables, essential oils, synthetic ingredients, honey and beeswax in their products.  In addition to not using animal fats in their products, Lush is also against animal testing and performs tests with volunteers instead.

Vitamin World, Lower Level, Lord & Taylor Wing

Known for its high-quality vitamins and supplements at unbeatable prices, Vitamin World has grown from its first location on Long Island in 1976 to more than 400 stores nationwide. This store will offer the full line of products from among the 700 superior-quality vitamins, minerals, herbs, and other nutritional supplements manufactured in its own state-of-the-art facilities.

In addition to these six stores, Rockaway Townsquare welcomed Books-A-Million last month in a spacious 7,000-plus square foot location in the Lower Level, Sears Wing.  With more than 250 stores in 31 states and the District of Columbia, Books-A-Million has become the second largest book retailer in the nation.

Rockaway Townsquare is located at Route 80 and Mt. Hope Avenue in Rockaway, New Jersey, and is managed by Simon Property Group Inc., headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana.
