Every morning, we give you a heads-up on what's happening in Morris Township and Morris Plains. There might be some things you overlooked, but need to know about. So, here are 5 things you need to know today: 

  1. You Need To Know About the Book Club Meeting:  The Director's Book Club at the Joint Free Public Library of Morristown and Morris Township has a meeting at 10 a.m. to discuss the book "Major Pettigrew's Last Stand" by Helen Simonson.
  2. You Need To Know About the Big Game: Morristown High School and Delbarton will be facing off on the basketball court at 7 p.m. at Morristown High School.
  3. You Need To Know You Can Be a Beekeeper: Beekeeper Tammy Toad Ryan is giving an introductory Beekeeping class at 6 p.m. at the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, 14 Maple Ave., in Morristown.
  4. You Need To Know About Preschool Story Time: From 10-11 a.m., a preschool storytime will be held in the children's room at the Morris County Library, 30 E. Hanover Ave. in Whippany.
  5. You Need To Know That You Can Make a Custom Floral Arrangement: From 6-8 p.m., floral designer Marge Hulstrunk will guide you in creating your own floral arrangement. Registration is required for this event, which will take place at the Haggerty Education Center at the .
