Committeeman Recuses Himself, Cops Search for 'AC Bandit' Top Local News

Committeeman Jeff Grayzel recused himself from future Honeywell proceedings on Wednesday night, after the township recently discovered his wife is a former employee and still holds a pension fund with the company.

After the township has seen a recent rash of burglaries from the so-called 'AC Bandit' -- the burglar gaining entry into homes by pushing in first-floor air conditioning units -- the Morris Township Police Department held a special meeting with residents to ask for help and tell them to be on the lookout. The police say they suspect the burglar to be between 17 and 20 years old holding a backpack.

The 'Jersey Shore' duo Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley will no longer film their spinoff show 'Snooki & JWoww' in Morristown, after the show's production company, 495 Productions, announced on Wednesday that they are looking to film in other locations instead.

Sixteen-year-old Grace Campbell from Morris Township saved a woman on a beach in Ocean County on Tuesday night by performing CPR. Grace, a local lifeguard who was down the shore visiting relatives, saw the woman struggling and rushed to help, ultimately saving her life.

Morris Plains resident Mark Williams recently opened his own training facility in Whippany, where he works with a number of athletes from high school to professional level for sport specific training.

It was announced this week that the Whole Foods Supermarket is coming to Parsippany. This is the second location to come to Morris County, after one located in Madison at 222 Main St.
