The Green Earth Ministry and Seeds of Peace Committee at the M are sponsoring a film, “The Economics of Happiness,” on Saturday, March 17 at 7:30 p.m.
The 70-minute film describes a world moving simultaneously in two opposing directions, according to a press statement from the fellowship.
It goes on to say: “all around the world people are resisting globalization and the consolidation of corporate power, demanding a re-regulation of trade and finance and they are starting to forge a very different future. Communities are coming together to rebuild on a more human scare, ecological economies based on a new paradigm, an economics of localization.”
