No, it's not a group of Scottish Terriers who play the bagpipes

The Morris County Dog Owners Group moved from an informal bunch of dog walkers to an organization.

1) How They started: People who walked their dogs at got friendly.

2) Newcomers: The friends noticed new people and dogs at the park and reached out to them.

3) A new park: They raised money for the new dog park at Greystone.

4) More of a mission: They decided they should be more than a fund-raising group.

5) Communication: They now get the word out about dog food recalls and other important facts.
