Kids Become Detectives at Museum Fingerprint Workshop

Event was part of Morris Museum's Super Science Saturdays

The Super Science Saturday program at the Morris Museum gives children the opportunity to perform science-based tasks that are fun and educational. On Saturday, Feb. 26, the subject was "Fingerprints." Kids over 5 were invited to capture their own fingerprints on adhesive tape, then make the prints visible by dusting them with charcoal. Next came identifying whether their prints represented whorls, loops or arches, the three types of fingerprint patterns.
