Morris Township-Morris Plains Patch has something new today: a full-time editor.

My colleague John Dunphy has done a fantastic job as editor of Morris Township-Morris Plains Patch and today I take over the wheel.

So just who exactly is this new editor, you ask?

Well, I was the editor of Nanuet Patch, Rockland County since it launched in August 2010 and took over Nyack Patch in September 2012. I transferred to Morris Township-Morris Plains Patch today officially.

I have written for publications like the Columbia Missourian, Vox Magazine and Inside Columbia Magazine

I was born in California, raised in Texas and after going to the University of Missouri's Journalism school, I moved up to the Northeast to be near family.

I look forward to meeting more of Morris Township-Morris Plains Patch’s readers so if you see me walking around town or typing away in Dunkin Donuts, please don’t hesitate to say hello, share a news tip or ask a question. You can also email me at Kim@Patch.com.

Happy Wednesday!

Your New Editor,
Kim Tran
