Morris County's 17th Annual Craft Fair
When/Where: 10 a.m. Saturday at Morris View Healthcare Center, Morris Township
Why Go: There will be 70 tables of merchandise from handcrafters and vendors. Want to start holiday shopping now?

Bridgewater Township Library from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday. 

Why Go: The American Historical Theatre will be presenting an adaptation of Washington Irving's classic tale, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," with a one-man interpretation of the story of the headless horseman. There will be a discussion following about Irving himself.

Why Go: The church has released a "Taste of St. Martin's" cookbook, and it's hosting a tasting of about 50 of its favorite recipes from the book.

Bones, Stones and the Undertaker
When/Where: 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5., at , Morristown
Why Go: This is the Morris County Tourism Bureau's last tour of the year, and they put on some excellent tours.

4th Annual Basking Ridge Fire Co. Beefsteak Dinner Safe
Where/When: At 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Basking Ridge Fire Co.'s firehouse, 30 Washington Ave., in Basking Ridge.
Why Go: After a tough week of trying to scare up a meal without power, let the firemen (and women) do the cooking for you. All you can eat beefsteak, beer, salad, fries, soda and dessert. Wine available for sale. Music by "The Second Chance." And help out these hard-working volunteers! Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Liberty Corner Fire Co's Comedy Night
When/Where:
Liberty Corner Fire Company's firehouse at 95 Church St. in the Liberty Corner section of Bernards Township. Doors open at 7 p.m. on Sat., Nov. 5, for those 21 and older.
Why Go:
Because if you've ever needed a laugh, it's now! Comedy night in the spacious firehouse is usually a popular draw. Plus help out a volunteer fire company.

The Miles Davis Experience: 1949-1959

Why Go: You want to experience Miles Davis

Why Go: To walk or run a 5K and raise funds to help people suffering from the dreaded disease.

Why Go: You want to enjoy farmers market shopping late in the season.

When/Where: Rescheduled because of the snow, it will be held Sunday at , with the walk beginning at 3 p.m.

Why Go: Not only will you have the chance to raise money for diabetes research, but you will also get to take part in Halloween activities, like trunk-or-treating, pumpkin picking, a petting zoo and a costume contest.

Cost: A suggested donation is $20 per family to participate.
