Clifton-based developers M&M Realty Partners purchased the Pfizer property located off Route 53 earlier this month, and presented a concept plan to borough officials last week to redevelop the property for retail and residential use.

Police said Morris Township resident Jason Friedberg, 28, was arrested on drug charges earlier this month after police initially responded to a 911 call from his father for a vandalized car. The police later determinned that Friedberg drove while intoxicated, crashed his father's car and also had pot in his car.

The developers who purchased the Pfizer property earlier this month told borough officials that they expect their final redvelopment project with residential and retail units to be about a $100 million ratable.

Committeeman Bruce Sisler might also have to step down from the Honeywell proceedings after Township Attorney John Mills said his employment with Assemblyman Anthony Bucco Jr. could pose another conflict of interest. The matter is referred to the township ethics committee, and the first Honeywell public hearing is now Sept. 6.

Sixteen-year-old Grace Campell saved a woman on an Ocean County beach by performing life-saving CPR. Grace, a Morris Township lifeguard, was visiting family down the shore.
