15th Annual Tree, Wreath, and Plant Sale at Ayres/Knuth Farm in Denville

The Ayres/Knuth Farm Foundation, Inc will hold its 15th Annual Tree Sale at the Union Hill Farms stand on Cooper Road in Denville, from Thursday, December 5th to Sunday, December 15th. Shoppers can choose from the highest quality trees, wreaths, fresh garland/roping, and other decorations.

Hours of operation are Thursdays and Fridays from 5 to 8 PM, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 4 PM, until all trees are sold.  This is the Foundation’s only fundraiser and it is popular with the community; some families have made it their tradition to buy at “The Farm”.

The Foundation is also selling pre-ordered poinsettia plants and evergreen  roping.  Orders can be placed at the website, http://www.ayresknuthfarm.orgONLY until November 26th.  Pre-ordered items may be picked up on December 7th at the sale between 10 AM and 4 PM.

We will also be accepting non-perishable food donations for Roots & Wings Foundation of Denville, which we have chosen as our partner for this year’s sale.  This group serves youth who have aged out of the foster care system.

Home baked cookies will be for sale.  On Saturday and Sunday, free Starbucks coffee is available.  All proceeds of the tree sale go to the Ayres/Knuth Farm Preservation Effort.  Ayres/Knuth is listed on both the State of NJ and the Federal Historic Registers.  The use of the farm stand is generously donated by Jeff O’Hara.  Some farm stand items are available for purchase as well.  This is a community event, as local student groups help out at the sale.  Your contributions for the items purchased are partially tax deductible, because Ayres/Knuth Farm Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) organization.

Stop by between your holiday errands and have a cup of coffee with the Foundation volunteers.  Follow us on Facebook or on the web at http://www.ayresknuthfarm.org.  For information on special events, to volunteer, or for changes due to weather, call 973-625-9345.
