6th Annual Share the Care- 5k Run/Walk Benefits Morris Habitat for Humanity

Morris Plains, NJ--- September usually means great
weather for running and once again RPI Design Build, LLC, a local builder based
in Morris County and The Borough of Morris Plains “The Community of Caring”
will be hosting the 6th Annual Share
the Care 5K Run/Walk
on Thursday,
September 12th at 6:30 p.m.
to benefit Morris Habitat for Humanity.  Following the 5K, there will be a Kids Fun
Run for children ages 2-14.



Early registration is available until August 31st.  Fees are $25 for the 5K and $15 for the Kids
Fun Run.  After August 31st until the day
of the race, fees are $30 for the 5K and $15 for the Fun Run.  All net proceeds go directly to Habitat for
Humanity.



The new
route for this year will begin and end in Central Park, Morris Plains.  Participants in the Share the Care 5K Run/Walk will run or walk on a USA Track
& Field marked course through the streets of Morris Plains.  Refreshments, food,
entertainment and t-shirts will be provided to all pre-registered participants.
Children participating in the Fun Run will also receive a medal and the school
with the most participants will be recognized. Prizes will be awarded to the top female and male adults
overall and by age groups.

For the 6th consecutive
year, RPI Design Build owner Matt Wendorff and his wife Denise have sponsored
and organized the Share the Care 5K
Run/Walk.
“We look forward to another successful Share the Care and are
most grateful for the Wendorff’s continued support of this popular family
event,” says Blair Bravo, Executive Director of Morris Habitat for
Humanity.  “Thank you to all the runners
who come out year after year to help families in need
achieve the dream of a better life through home ownership.”
