Swamptails: Casual drinks for the environmental set

Have questions about the effects of global warming and sea-level rise in New Jersey? Want to talk about how Hurricane Sandy has changed our perspective on climate change? Come to Swamptails at George & Martha's and meet other people with the same questions!

The Great Swamp Watershed Association is hosting another Swamptails cocktail mixer at George & Martha’s American Grille in Morristown on Wednesday, January 23from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Our special guest for the evening will be Professor Ken Miller from the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Rutgers University. Ken has done extensive research on different scenarios for sea-level rise here in New Jersey, and has also compiled an astounding “before and after” presentation of the effects of Hurricane Sandy. Here’s your chance to relax and chat with an environmental expert and a great group of people who love nature and the Great Swamp.

If this sounds like your kind of crowd, why not drop by? The $20 cover charge at the door pays for all the hors d’ouevres you can eat, two cocktails from the bar, a chance at some awesome door prizes, and an opportunity to excel at our Great Swamptails Pub Quiz.
