Relay For Life of Greater Morristown

Join us on Friday, June 13th at Mennen Sports Arena, as Morristown hosts its annual Relay For Life event.  This special night will be packed with exciting activities like Zumba, live entertainment, and themed laps, as well as Relay’s signature Survivor Lap and Luminaria Ceremony.  Don’t miss this inspirational evening!

The Relay For Life brings together teams from local businesses, schools, churches and families for camaraderie, food, music and entertainment, and a night under the stars –all while team members take turns walking or running on a track. The 12 hour event begins with a Cancer Survivors Lap and reception to celebrate life, and later in the evening, will include a Luminaria Ceremony to honor those who are battling cancer and remembers those who have lost their fight.

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraising event in which participants celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember those we have lost and fight back against the disease.  Money raised through Relay For Life stays in Northwest NJ to fund research, education, advocacy and patient services.  Since 1985 Relay For Life has grown to more than 5,000 communities and over 25 countries worldwide. To date, the Relay For Life of Morristown has raised over $1 million.  Funds brought in through this year’s event will go toward the American Cancer Society’s mission of helping people stay well, get well, find cures and fight back.
