Based on the novel “Green
Grow the Lilacs” and set in the western territory at the turn of the century,
the high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys is the colorful
background against which Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm
girl, play their love story. This great American musical classic features “Oh,
What A Beautiful Morning,” “People Will Say We’re In Love,” “Surrey with the
Fringe on Top,” “Kansas City,” “Out of My Dreams,” and many more.
