Free Coats on the Morristown Green

MORRISTOWN--The Market Street Mission will distribute winter coats to men, women, and children on Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the Morristown Green, Morristown, NJ.  There will be no charge for the coats or jackets that have been donated by area residents, churches and corporations. Those who wish to participate by donating coats may take them to the Mission's Thrift Store at 25 George Street, Morristown. Coats must be in good condition, and large sizes are especially needed.

The Coat Giveaway is intended to make it easy for the homeless and other needy people to get the warm outerwear they will need to get them through the coming winter. In the event of rain the Coat Giveaway will be held at Market Street Mission's Chapel, 9 Market Street, Morristown, NJ.
