Kings Feeds Homeless Solutions $1K

Proceeds of holiday tasting benefits non-profit.

Last month, Kings of Morristown's Holiday Tasting Event generated enough funds that the store was able to donate $1,000 to Homeless Solutions, Inc.

The event included a variety of specialty tastings and in-store activities. Donna Ring, Kings Customer Service Manager presented a check to Stephanie Cicale, Homeless Solutions Director of Development.  Also supporting HSI's efforts but not in the picture attached to this post are Judy Spires, Kings President and CEO and Maryann Klejmont, General Manager of the Kings Morristown store.

A private, non-profit organization, HSI has been helping those in need for 30 years.  In 2012, the group served 386 people by providing emergency shelter and transitional housing.  The case managers offer the support needed to help our guests rebuild their lives and successfully return to independent living.  They also develop permanent supportive housing that is energy efficient for very low, low, and moderate income families and individuals.  They provided homes people can afford to 119 people in 2012.
