Morris Township Police Increase Ranks

Eight-year veteran of the Park Police takes the oath of office.

Officer Kyle Laauwe became the newest addition to the Morris Township Police Department as he took the official oath of office during the regular meeting of the Township Committee on Wednesday night.

Laauwe currently earned a bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2010 and has been employed by the Morris County Park Police since December 2005.

“Kyle resides in North Haledon with his wife Michelle and baby daughter Briana,” Morris Township Chief of Police John McGuinness said. “During his law enforcement career Kyle has obtained numerous certifications that will be an asset to our agency.”
