The Seeing Eye Online Auction is Now Open with Nearly 500 Items

Bid on a blindfold walk with a Seeing Eye dog, designer jewelry and handbags, sports tickets, vacation packages, and more!

An online auction to benefit Morristown based charity, The Seeing Eye, is now open! Bid in The Seeing Eye sixth annual online auction now through 10 p.m. on May 2.

A meet and greet with New York Giants great O.J. Anderson, and tickets for two with a backstage tour of the Phantom of the Opera, are among several “one of a kind” experiences up for bid. Betty White has donated several signed items, including a script signed by the cast members of the hit TV Land show Hot in Cleveland, and a mini football helmet signed by Ray Lewis of the Baltimore Ravens. A Mini football helmet signed by Ray Lewis of the Baltimore Ravens is also up for bid.

“With nearly 500 items, The Seeing Eye’s sixth online auction is our largest to date, and has something for everyone,” said The Seeing Eye’s President & CEO Jim Kutsch. “We’re excited to offer several signed items by Betty White and various sports stars, and a variety of unique products, experiences and vacation packages. All auction proceeds support our mission to increase independence and mobility for people who are blind and visually impaired through Seeing Eye® dogs.”

Auction items include entertainment experiences, daytrips and getaways; designer jewelry and handbags; gift baskets for dogs and dog lovers; sports tickets and memorabilia; and accessibility products. Pamper mom for Mother’s Day with products just for her (items will ship in time for the holiday). Some exciting auction items include getaways to Boston, Maine, and Lake Placid, N.Y.; a tour for two at The Seeing Eye’s breeding station; naming a Seeing Eye puppy; a day with a Seeing Eye instructor that includes a blindfold walk with a Seeing Eye dog; and accessibility products from Sendero, Humanware and more. All items in the auction catalog are donated by generous individuals and organizations, and all proceeds from the final sale price of each item go directly to support The Seeing Eye’s mission of enhancing the independence and dignity of people who are blind and visually impaired through the use of Seeing Eye® dogs. All items won by bidders ship for free, except for a select few that must be picked up at the campus. Those items have a special note in their listing.
