Local Restaurants Serve Up Delights to Benefit St. Virgil Academy

An old favorite night out is back in our area and will benefit St. Virgil Academy, the Pre-K through Grade 8 school located on the campus of St. Virgil Parish in Morris Plains.  On Thursday evening, October 26, the school will play host to some of the area’s finest restaurants at its 2013 Fall Food Festival.

The festival, which will be held at The Mansion at Bretton Woods, 361 Speedwell Avenue in Morris Plains, will feature specialties from area restaurants such as Morris Plains’ famous Hunan Chinese Room, Tiffany’s Restaurant and Verde Ristorante.  In addition, Randolph’s own Morris Tap and Grill will be serving some of its famous entrées.   Morristown’s beloved Provesi Restaurant and Pete’s Tavern & Pub will be on hand, along with Marjan Persian Grill.  One of East Hanover’s newest restaurants, Pizza Oven Mamma Mia will make its Fall Food Festival debut, as will the established favorite, Ricci’s at Castle Ridge Italian Restaurant and Catering.  Denville eateries, such as Charlie Browns and the Rattlesnake Ranch Café, will also be on hand treating guests to their unique dishes.

However, festival goers will need to save room for dessert after sampling all that fine food.   Mara’s Bakery and Café, also in Denville, will have a selection of their famous sweet treats on hand to appropriately finish off the perfect meal.
