Getting (lights on the turf) at the high school is a no-brainer. The ability to rent the field out each night would allow the school to not only make money, but keep out trespassers. In addition, the idea of having "Friday Night Lights" would help draw both the town and school community together.

As a former Colonial athlete I would have loved to play under the lights. Morristown High School needs lights as it would bring more money into the school and community. People absolutely love night games. There is nothing like it as an athlete to play in front of your home crowd under the lights.

It would be very convenient for the players. In my time at MHS, we only hosted two home night games, which we had to bring in lights. It would make games more fun for players and fans to enjoy.

much needed investment to leverage a great facility

We've been asking for lights on that field for YEARS! Night games are the best kind and with the new turf, it's a necessity.
 

MHS NEEDS LIGHTS. I play/played football there, and with night games and practices not only would it be more enjoyable, but more profitable as well
