A bicyclist was critically injured at Columbia Turnpike and Normandy Heights Parkway at about 10 a.m. on Wednesday morning in a crash that led police to close the road for about three hours.
According to a police report from the Morris Township, a male bicyclist was struck by a westbound vehicle at the intersection, and was discovered on the road when officers got to the scene.
The bicyclist was rushed to Morristown Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the other vehicle did not have any reported injuries, according to the statement.

The bicyclist's name has not been released, and there is no further information available about his state at the hospital. Police did not specify whether the driver was facing or might soon face any charges.
According to the police statement, the Morris Township Serious Accident Reconstruction Team examined the scene and interviewed the driver of the other vehicle involved, who remained at the scene and cooperated.
