Cops: Men Robbed Quick Chek With Gun, Knife

Morris Plains police are searching for three teens or young men who robbed the on West Hanover Avenue Monday night.
Detective Jason Kohn said that at about 9:30 p.m. Friday, three males came into the store, one with a gun and another with a knife. They were described as being in their late teens or early 20s.
No one was hurt in the incident, though two cashiers were threatened, Kohn said. He said he was not aware of any recent similar incidents in Morris County.

The Quick Check's CCTV camera captured images of the robbers, but Kohn said he couldn't release those images to media at this time. Police are continuing to investigate the incident, he said.
