Cops: Morris Plains Man, 36, Provided Alcohol to 19-year-old

Employee of local pizza restaurant was arrested.

According to Morris Plains Police, a Sunday night disturbance at a pizza restaurant has led to a local man being charged with providing alcohol to a 19-year-old.  Detective Sergeant Edward Dobbins said that police went to Lovey's Pizza & Grill on West Hanover Ave. on Sunday, Jan. 30, at 10:30 p.m. after a report of a disturbance was received. Their investigation, Dobbins said,  led, on Feb. 2, to the charge against Paulo Monge, age 36, of Morris Plains.

Note: An earlier version of this post incorrectly reported that Monge was arrested on a charge of providing alcohol to a 19-year-old; he was charged, but not arrested.
