Cops: Morris Twp. Man Had Knife, Made Death Threats

Police say the alleged victim was not injured.

A Morris Township man threatened to kill another with a knife, Morris Township police said.

On Friday evening, officers arrested Edy Cristobal Meza-Espino, 35, on several charges. Capt. Rich Ferrone said police had responded to a call on Arbor Way, where two men were said to be arguing and one had allegedly threatened to kill the other with a knife.

The victim, whose identity was not revealed, was not injured, police said.

According to Ferrone, Meza-Espino was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, illegal possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, and making threats to kill. He was taken to the Morris County Jail where bail was set at $10,000, police said.
