A Randolph teen was arrested on drug-related charges after a lit cigarette tossed from the car he was driving attracted the attention of Morris Plains officers, police said.

The vehicle was stopped, and, according to Kohn, there was probable cause to believe there were drugs in the car, which led to the issuance of a search warrant. Kohn did not elaborate further on what that probably cause involved.
