Cops: Two Arrested in DWI Incidents

Woman allegedly refused breath test, didn't have insurance.

A Chatham man and A Morristown woman were each arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated after separate recent motor vehicle stops, Morris Township police said.

Timothy McDougland, 44, of Chatham, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated just before midnight on May 19. According to Capt. Rich Ferrone, McDougland had been stopped by officers Steven Crump and Heather Jones for failing to maintain his lane on Woodland Avenue. Police said he was also charged with reckless driving.

Just after midnight on the morning of May 22, Natashia Johnson, 26, of Morristown was also arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated, Morris Township police said. A Chevrolet driven by Johnson was reportedly stopped on Burnham Road by Ptl. Clay Boeninghaus for an equipment violation. Police say Johnson was also charged with refusing to take a breath test, driving an uninsured vehicle and failing to maintain the car's lights.
