Dover police say that Ericka Ramirez, 21, of Morris Plains, was one of two people arrested on Saturday, April 23 on heroin-related charges.
According to Captain Peter Ugalde, officers spotted a suspicious vehicle parked in Lot B of the Dover municipal parking lots. After investigating and spotting a bag containing hypodermic needles, Sergeant Anthony Smith arrested both Ramirez and Angelo James Pezzino, 21 of Rockaway on charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute, possession within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of a hypodermic needle, along with other undisclosed charges.
Police reported that more than 25 bags of heroin were recovered from the car.
