Man Mooned Cop, Others In Middle of Street, Police Say

30-year-old Morristown resident allegedly dropped his pants on Washington Street.

A Morristown man was arrested and charged with lewdness after he dropped his pants while standing in the middle of the road, Morristown Police said.

Ross Cocheo, 30, of Farmhouse Lane, was arrested shortly after 2 a.m. on Dec. 23. According to officer David Tissot's report, he was traveling eastbound on Washington Street in his patrol car when he stopped and observed a man—later identified as Cocheo—standing motionless in the middle of Washington Street blocking traffic.

Cocheo then turned away from the officer's direction and undid his pants, dropping them around his knees and bent over in front of the officer and about 10 other individuals in the area, according to the report.

Cocheo then pulled his pants back up and walked off Washington Street onto Schuyler Place where Tissot arrested him without incident, according to the report.

He was later released pending a Jan. 10 court date.

"clyde" you should be Morristown's Person of the Year, since you seem to have the answer for everything. If only we knew who you really were.

It could have been related to booze. If not it is an example of some lack of respect for others. Just like that movie"Jackass",there are a more then a few out there. I hope he gets a nice stiff fine in court. And some community service. Morristown deserves better.
