Meet the Morris Township People Who Keep You Safe

Morris Township is celebrating Emergency Services Day on April 13 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at their police headquarters—49 Woodland Ave.

The various emergency services of Morris Township will be hosting Emergency Services Day, at the Morris Township Police Headquarters, on Saturday, April 13 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Residents and members of the Morris Township area community can tour police headquarters, and see the various pieces of equipment that will be on display. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the various members of police and fire departments, the Morris Minutemen and members of the Office of Emergency Management, who see to the safety and well being of Morris Township on a daily basis.

"Members of all of the agencies represented will be on hand to meet and greet people," said Captain Rich Ferrone of the Morris Township Police Department. "We will also open up headquarters to allow people access to areas not generally open to the public."

Police officers will answer questions on a variety of topics including traffic safety, teen driving, crime prevention and Internet safety.
