Morris Plains Cops: Drunk Driver Hit Own House

A Morris Plains woman drunkenly crashed into her own house Sunday, police said.

Eileen Tofield, 48 was charged with driving while intoxicated. Police said they received a report at about 2 p.m. that a car had hit a home on Beaver Ridge Road. Police, fire and ambulance personnel responded to the scene, where Tofield was found, uninjured, at the wheel of a Honda Accord that was resting against her house, police said.  

According to police, Tofield was placed under arrest. She was later released pending a court appearance with the Morris Plains Municipal Court, police said
