Morris Plains Emergency Phone Lines Fixed
The lines went down around 11 p.m. Saturday night.
On Sunday morning emergency phone lines were again working after going down around 11 p.m. on Saturday night, according to the Morris Plains Police Department.
A Nixle alert sent out from the police on Saturday night stated that emergency phone lines were down in Morris Plains, but that 9-1-1 was still working. The message also said that repair crews were working to fix the problem and that it was expect to be resolved shortly.
As of 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, the police reported no issues with emergency phone lines.
