Morris Plains Mayor Swears in New Police Officer

Ptl. Kenneth George Higgins newest member of borough police department.

Morris Plains Mayor Frank Druetzler swore in Kenneth George Higgins at Thursday night's borough council meeting as a probabtionay patrolman for the . Higgins will attend the Morris County Police Academy in July.

Higgins was joined by his family and friends on Thursday night. About a dozen borough police officers, including the department's newest officers, Adam Klymko and Ryan McKay, who graduated from the Academy last week, were also there to see Higgins get sworn in. McKay responded to a and doused the blaze with pool water with Sgt. Mike Rohl.
