No Injuries But Significant Vehicle Damage in Thursday Accident

Pair of cars collided at Columbia Road and Normandy Heights Road shortly after noon, according to police.

No significant injuries, but significant vehicle damage, were reported when two cars collided at the intersection of Columbia Road and Normandy Heights Road early Thursday afternoon.

The accident occurred at about 12:15 p.m., said Township Police Lt. Ed Conrads. One vehicle traveling eastbound on Columbia Road was making a left turn in front of another vehicle traveling westbound, he said, noting, "there was significant damage to both vehicles and both were towed from the location."

There Conrads noted there were no significant injuries, one driver had complained of pain in his wrist and was checked out by an ambulance at the scene.
